OPENING & CLOSING CEREMONIES

We collaborated with Joshua Dorfman’s Traveling Temple to provide sacred opening and closing ceremonies for their 2024 Mount Shasta Retreat.

The opening ceremony — which one experienced facilitator called “The best calling-in of the directions I’ve ever seen” — used ritual and two alcohol-free cocktails to help the group clear themselves, set intentions, call in support, and set a container for the week.

The closing ceremony used ritual and a custom cocktail made with ingredients from the site to help the group experience a deep sense of enoughness, to express gratitude for their rich experiences, and mark that which they received during the retreat.
